Viller Valbonesi has performed in Italy, Spain, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Norway, China, Japan and Utah (USA), at venues such as Philharmonie (Kammermusiksaal) and Konzerthaus (Großer Saal) in Berlin, Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Hamburg, Wittlich Synagoge, Mendelssohn-Haus in Leipzig, Sala Petrassi and Sala S. Cecilia at the “Parco della Musica” in Rome, Sala dei Giganti in Padova, Teatro Malibran in Venezia, Teatro Masini in Faenza, Sala Corelli in Ravenna, Troldhaugen in Bergen, Wiener Saal in Salzburg. Viller has also performed as soloist with many orchestras, including the Orchestra Città di Ravenna, Orchestra Sinfonica Città di Magenta, Orchestra Sinfonica Città di Grosseto, Bacau Philarmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, Hochschulorchester “Hanns Eisler” Berlin, with conductors such as Ovidiu Balan, Enrique Bàtiz, Christian Ehwald, Alberto Malazzi.
He won prizes in many competitions, including the International Arcangelo Speranza Competition in Taranto, the International Val Tidone Competition, the International Porrino Competition in Cagliari, the International Scriabin Competition in Grosseto, the „Premio Venezia“, the international Schubert Competition in Dortmund (Mozart Prize), the „Renate-Schorler“ Berliner Klavierwettbewerb .
In addition to performing as a soloist, he is also active as a chamber musician and song accompanist.
Since 2012 he is a member of the „Berolina Ensemble“, recording with the MDG label (Musikproduktion Dabringhaus und Grimm). He makes his appereance as a soloist in the release „Rudorff Chamber Music“ (2015), interpreting Ernst Rudorff´s piano works.
The Berolina Ensemble has received very important german prizes: the “Opus Klassik” in 2019 (Best innovative Audio-Production) and two times the „Echo Preis“: in 2014 ( Prize as Best Ensemble of the year) and in 2016 ( Prize for the best 19th century chamber music recording)
Since 2017 Viller teaches piano and chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik ‘Hanns Eisler’ Berlin. In the same University Viller was also assistant of Prof. Fabio Bidini in 2015/16 and assistant of Prof.Eldar Nebolsin in 2018/2019. Since 2016 Viller teaches piano at the music school “Bela bartok” in Berlin as well.
Viller Valbonesi started playing piano under the tutelage of Mauro Minguzzi, and graduated cum laude from the Pergolesi conservatory in Fermo in 2002. Then he studied with Pier Narciso Masi and also received degrees cum Laude from the G. Frescobaldi conservatory in Ferrara in the class of Fabrizio Lanzoni, and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Sergio Perticaroli. From 2012 he studied with Fabio Bidini at the Hochschule “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin where he graduated as Konzertexamen in 2015.
Viller has attended several masterclasses with established pianists such as Andràs Schiff, Michel Beroff, Arie Vardi, Andrea Lucchesini, Alexander Lonquich, Bruno Canino, Dario de Rosa, Pier Narciso Masi, Kostantin Bogino, Irwin Gage and Wolfram Rieger.
